Migrate client’s Content Management System (CMS) from Java based CMS to Episerver .Net WXM (web experience manager), integrating to current third party systems, to be delivered within a four month timeframe. Migration was across local and global websites.
Discovery phase of existing CMS and current pain points, content manager requirements and all CMS users. The scope involved rebuilding the existing site into the new CMS with new templates and ‘blocks’, integrations to CRM and Marketing cloud, training of content users (locally and overseas), training of developers, testing/QA and delivery. Integrated Google Analytics (GA) to all sections of the site and created required dashboards in GA.
The website was successfully migrated to the new .Net CMS within the four month deadline, thereby ensuring the client did not incur financial penalties to keep the existing CMS running after its licenses expired. GA and Google Tag Manager (GTM) was enabled across the site giving the client unprecedented cross domain tracking and funnel reporting. Content staff were successfully trained on the new CMS which included how to personalise content to visitor groups, and development team was successfully trained on the new CMS. Further, new lead nurture programs were able to be built due to utilising the direct configuration to Marketing Cloud from the CMS, which has enabled our client to reach over 5000 dormant leads they would not have been able to previously.
